Sukoon — Banarasi Organza Silk Saree in Hot Pink

Hot pink has never needed an apology.
Sukoon is woven using the kadwa technique — one of the most demanding in the Varanasi weaver's craft. In kadwa weaving, each buta motif is woven independently, thread by thread, without the shortcut of a floating thread across the back. The result is a cleaner, finer motif on both sides of the fabric — and a saree that takes significantly longer to make.
The organza silk gives it structure and translucency simultaneously. It catches light, holds its drape, and moves with a crispness that softer silks cannot match. In hot pink, it is completely unapologetic.
There is a particular kind of peace that comes from knowing exactly who you are. Sukoon is for that woman.
